I am a Songstress of the Heart, and I have been singing and writing songs for longer than I can remember. Trusting, on occasion, that what I do inspires… being here, living, making mistakes, growing and evolving, striving to stay grounded in compassion.

Let me briefly say I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I have lived in Nashville, TN; Boulder, CO; Sunnyvale, CA; Phoenix, AZ. I have done lots of spiritual study and inquiry into the self including growing up in a loving and independent-minded family, spending time in the church including studies with a worldly Presbyterian minister, singing in a regionally-successful rock band, leaving home on my own, trying my hand (and voice) in the Music City, falling in love for the first time, marriage and divorce, studies with a beautiful meditation Master and life with her devotees, introduction to many amazing spiritual teachers, work in the Silicon Valley at the height of the technological boom, time with a special friend from the other side of the world, travel to a few European cities, the life and early death of my beloved pup, living in an artful environment with my lovely sister, recording my first solo album, meeting my husband, adding more furry faces (2 dogs and a cat) and now returning home to truly one of the most quirky cities in the world.

Here I work with a guitarist / studio guy who believes in what I'm doing, and has more contacts than anyone I know. We continue to move forward with ideas for my songs, including work towards recording the next album. My day job is with a high-tech start-up company that has created a fundamentally different water desalination technology. I get to spend time with Dad, my sister just had a baby this past year- the last of the evolutionary line of my immediate family! And, my mom is able to visit often, as she is doing 2 of her favorite things 1. adventuring and world travel and 2. taking care of people. However, most of the time, I enjoy being at home.
